Saigon Shipyard has been involved in the Industrial & Marine Industries since inception, building and repairing products from Leisure Yachts to Barges and a wide variety of Steel structures and items. In recent times, its strengths and successes have predominantly been in the Industrial Sector.

In October 2005, although the company saw a change of ownership, it remains 100% foreign owned. The new owners and additional management has bought some new skills and experiences to Saigon Shipyard which will be beneficial for the growth and development of the company over the coming years. The company is looking to expand its presence in the Industrial Engineering business, and develop its facilities to provide a world class location for the Construction and Repair of Ships, Offshore Modules, and other related products and services.
