REINFORCEMENT OF STEEL PIPE PILES

Name of Project Saigon East-West Highway Construction Project - Construction Contract Package 2
Brief Description: Mechanical & Steel Structure Work
Nature of Service:

Land preparation (total of 6600 m2, with 46m along the river front) to provide sufficient space nearby the river for optimum production flow.
Hiring of a 240 Ton crawler crane for required handling operations over the full duration of the project.


Receive from Client a total of 275 SPP (1.2 m diameter, 28 m long, 14 Tons) by barges at our jetty in Cat Lai through 11 partial deliveries.
Unloading of free issue SPP.


Transform existing SPP onto longer and reinforced ones:
- 212 SPP 1.2 m diameter with lengths ranging from 29.50m to 37.50m
- Internal Top Reinforcing Ring for each SPP for driving purpose
- Internal stiffeners for 128 SPP


Loading of transformed SPP onto Client's barges (total of 20 deliveries of finished products).

These SPP are components of 2 cofferdams which will be used for the construction of the end blocks of Thu Thiem Tunnel on both sides of Saigon River.
